Volunteer

Trailblazers Wanted

We welcome enthusiastic people who want to come volunteer their time on any number of projects on the farm. Whether you want to learn how to build alternative sustainable weather resistant structures, install water catchment, solar systems and vermicomposting septic systems or work on regenerative farming and tropical permaculture techniques.  We are looking for people at various skill levels who want to participate in or learn sustainable methodologies. Create community through innovation and dedication to solutions for the future while learning to live in harmony with nature.

If this sounds like a good fit for you or anyone you know please feel free to contact us for more details and arrangements. We currently offer either camping with amenities, basic camping on site or we can arrange housing nearby. For those staying on site we offer meals and outings to explore and experience the beauty of Puerto Rico. We are located on the west side of the island in the mountains an hour from world class surfing beaches, near lots of waterfalls and caves, an hour from the Agaudilla airport, a half hour from the Mayaguez airport and a little over two hours from the San Juan Airport.

What is WWOOF?

Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) is a worldwide movement to link visitors (WWOOFers) with organic farmers, promote a cultural and educational exchange, and build a global community conscious of ecological farming and sustainability practices. WWOOF started 50 years ago and has grown from a small group in the 1970’s to a worldwide community of hundreds of thousands of people today.
